AUCKLANDER’S SUCCESS
BORNEO SURVEYOR-GENERAL A distinguished son of Auckland is Mr. T. J. H. Speedy, notice of whoso appointment to the post of SurveyorGeneral in British North Borneo has been received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. H. Speedy, of 20 Rahiri Road, Mount Eden. Mr. Speedy received his education at tho Auckland Grammar School and on leaving in 1906 continued his studies at the Auckland University College. He was in business in Auckland as a surveyor for some years, and in 1921 left for Boraeo.
