MR. C. T. DUDLEY The only surviving son of the late Archdeacon Dudley, Air. Charles Thornton Dudley, has died in Nelson at the age of 86. Whyte then engaged in farming at Mangere until he retired, the present motor speedway being constructed on what was his farm. Air. Whyte was actively interested in local body affairs, being a former member of the Alangere Road Board, a member of the Otahuhu Borough Council, president of the Otahuhu Bowling Club and a vice-president of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club.
