HAMILTON DIVORCES
SEVERAL DECREES MADE (From Our Own Correspondent) f HAMILTON, Tuesday. Several divorces were granted by Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court yesterday. On the grounds that her husband committed adultery with another woman at the Wairoa Hotel, Wellington, in December, 1928, Mary Duncan Caley, Te Kuiti, sought a decree nisi against Percy Caley, salesman, Wellington. . In 1926 respondent lived in Wellington and later was found staying with an unknown woman at the hotel under the name of “Mr. aqd Mrs. Caley.” A decree nisi was granted. John Wakefield, farm labourer, was granted a dissolution of his marriage with Mary Elizabeth Wakefield on statutory grounds. A decree nisi was granted to Thomas Iliddell, farmer, Gordonton. against Estielmont Riddell, for failure to obey an order of restitution. An application by Mary Alice Carl{ton for a dissolution of marriage on the strength of an agreement to separate mad© in May, 1926, was adjourned, his Honour requiring further proof that the parties had actually been separated for a longer period than three years.
