Oxford v. Lancashire. —Oxford in its first made 160 (R. Tyldesley taking five for 55) and in its second 139 for six. Lancashire in its first made 218 (Watson 76). The match was drawn.

Cambridge v. Gloucester. Cambridge in its first made 82 (Goddard taking nine for 21) and in its second 135 for three (Block 72). Gloucester in its first made 220 for three and declared (Hammond not out 113). The match was drawn.
