LONG GOLF MATCH

GAME AT MIRIMAR Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. A remarkable game took place at the Miramar Golf Club’s links in a foursome match over 18 holes. Marsden and Hughes beat Daniel 1 and Alack one up at the 54th hole. They were all square at the end of 18 holes and 36 holes. They went out again for anj other IS holes, and at the 53rd hole | they were again all square. The losers i were stymied at the 54th hole. Daniel: j forgetting he had a stroke in hand, I putted for the hole, knocking his opponents’ ball in and giving them the j match. The three rounds were played I on the same day.
