POSSIBLES AND PROBABLES AUCKLAND JUNE FIXTURE With only a week to go, interest in the Auckland Trotting Club’s winter carnival is reaching an exciting point, and the public are keenly following the recent form of pacers and trotters who are likely to take part at the function, which promises to be a big success. With the line weather experienced, during the last couple of days local candidates have had a chance of putting in sound work, but still they will lack the finishing touches gained by their more fortunate Southern rivals, who have been racing almost every week-end during the last two months. Striking Performance When the Australian pacer Vendome won at Forbury Park on a holding track she defeated some good ones in Morning Sun, Logan Hanlon and Dilworth, all of whom on the concluding day put up attractive performances. Any of these three would be considered in a favourable light off the front of a 2.51 10-furlong ; fluttei’, so what a good chance J. J.
