VISIT TO AMERICA
U.S. GOVERNMENT WILL WELCOME MACDONALD (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) WASHINGTON, Wednesday. The American Government is stated in high official circles to be greatly gratified at, and ready to welcome, the plan of the British Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonald, to visit the United States to confer with the President, Mr. Hoover, on the relations of the two countries.
