HOPELESS CASE FINED £5
Described by Sub-Inspector McCarthy as a hopeless case, Ernest Edward Cuthbertson Maxey was fined A) 5 at the Police Court this morning. Maxey, a labourer, aged 49. pleaded guilty to being found drunk in Albert Street on Saturday, and breaking the terms of his prohibition order. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.: Why, surely ho has just come out of gaol.
