FALL ON SAFETY-ZONE

ELDERLY WOMAN INJURED While getting off a tram at the oafety-zone in Queen Street at the foot of Wyndham Street last evening Mrs. Agnes Tec-bey, aged 62, slipped and fell, striking her head against the sharp edge of the concrete of the zone. She fell unconscious and the St. John Ambulance had to be called to take her to hospital. She was admitted suffering from severe injuries to her head and shoulders and was in a serious condition. This morning she was reported to be improving. Mrs. Teebey lives at 10 Mountain Road, Mount Albert.
