FLOOD WATERS RECEDE

DARGAVILLE LINE CLEAR (From Our Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, Thursday. Flood waters in this* district have receded considerably today consequent upon the cessation of heavy rain. The train was able to run the full distance of the branch line today—from Dargaville to Donnelly’s Crossing. Taylor’s Flat is still under water and this road between Dargaville and Whangarei is still blocked. No loss of stock or material damage is reported.
