SEVERE CONDITIONS
AS showing the severity of some _ of the limits in connection with the Auckland winter fixture, a local owner has two pacers which have gone a fraction outside f of the time limit set for the Adams' Memorial Cup. !f they arc handicapped prior to entrance day, it is quite I kely the pair will be on the mark required. The owner, who is a gcod supporter of the sport in this province is, therefore, compelled to nominate the horses for Canterbury Park in order to become eligible for the Adams Cup. Several other local horses, which would have graced this important event with their presence are “barred” by virtue of the harsh conditions governing the control this year.
