WOMAN FOUND DROWNED
The wife of the county clerk at Murchison, Mrs. Hugh Fraser, who was missed from her home at about li o’clock yesterday morning, was found by Constable Robertson and several friends lying face downward in about 4ft of water in a hole under the Matakitaki Bridge.
