Bush-King, formerly Anglican vicar of Otorohanga, and more recently of Kawhia and the district, has resigned on account of illhealth Mr. C. M. Croft, Canadian TradeCommissioner, who has boon visiting Wellington, returned to Auckland today by the Limited. He was accompanied by Mrs. Croft. The Hon. P. A. do la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, arrived in Auckland from Whangarei last evening. He leaves for Wellington this evening* The Rev. L. C. Horwood, who has been appointed assistant to the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour. Methodist city missioner, arrived from the South this morning to take up his new duties in Auckland. Dr. W. Aitken, medical officer in charge of the military sanatorium at Cashmere, has handed in his resignation. This will be considered by the North Canterbury Hospital Board at its next meeting.
