Jones, an accountant, neglected to furnish a return of his income. , _ _ For each time that he failed m giving the Commissioner of Taxes information, Jones was fined £5 by Mr. F. K. Hunt in the Police Court this morning. Mr. Hunt said that he could noi lessen the punishment, as it would be an encouragement to others to avoid supplying the details of their incomes.
