HAMILTON WEST SCHOOL

PROTEST AGAINST REMOVAL (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Tuesday. A proposal to remove the Hamilton West School to a site on fthe Palmerston Estate and to use the present grounds for secondary school purposes formed the subject of discussion at a meeting last evening of parents of children attending the schooL Mrs. W. F. Kent-Johnston presided. Arguments were given in favour of the retention of the present site for primary school purposes, and it was resolved to forward a petition to the Minister of Education protesting against the proposal to remove the school.
