The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health, will visit Hamilton tpmorrow. The Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterGeneral. returned to Auckland this morning from Wellington. Mr. E. P. Moir, traffic adviser to the divisional superintendent of railways, returned to Auckland this morning from Wellington. Major-General R. Young. C. 8., C.M.G., D. 5.0., G.O.C. .N.Z. Forces, returned to Wellington last evening by the Limited. Mr. J. F. Mackley, who retired recently from the position of locomotive engineer. North Island railways, hgLS joined the Atlantic Union Oil Company as sales manager. His headquarters will be in Auckland. Bishop Molyueux, Bishop of Melanesia, who arrived by the Ulimaroa yesterday, is the guest of Archbishop Aver ill. He will leave by the Southern Cross for the New Hebrides on Thursday. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, and his private secretary, Mr. E. N. Poulton, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited. They will leave for Whangarel this afternoon, where Mr. de la Perrelle will open the Racing Club’s pavilion. Dr. T. W. Childs, for the last 18 months superintendent of the Tokanui Mental Hospital, has been notified that he has been transferred to the Seacliff Hospital, nea r Dunedin, where he will occupy a similar position. He will leave on Saturday for the South. Dr. Childs, who for the past 18 months has been medical superintendent at the Tokanui Mental Hospital, has received notification of his transfer to a similar position at Seacliff Mental Hospital. Dr. Childs will most probably be succeeded at Tokanui by Dr. Prince, of Auckland. Mr. R. Hoe was this morning appointed by the Auckland Education Board to represent the board at the unveiling of the memorial potraits of tho late Rt. Hon. W. F.
