COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Lyttelton arrived in port last evening with a raft of logs and a barge of firewood from the coast. The Herekino arrived from Portland this morning. The Piri came from the powd* r anchorage up to King's' Wharf this morning to unload timber. The Awahou is due at S o’clock tonight, and leaves at 1 p.m. to-morrow for Gisborne direct. She will berth at Central Wharf. The Pukeko is to be dispatched for East Coast bays, Napier, Wairoa, Hick’s Bay and Tokomaru Bay at 4 p.m. to-day. The Scot has not arrived back Waipu yet. She is bar-bound there The Apanui sails for Great Barrier Island at midnight to-night. She arrives back at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The Otimai is to be dispatched for Opotiki and Kutarere at 4 p.m. this afternoon. The Hauiti sails for Kopu and Turua at 5 o'clock this evening, and returns to port at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The Omana returns from Motuihi and Waiheke at 6.30 o’clock this evening, and sails for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana at 7 a.m. to-morrow. The Taniwha arrives from Paeroa at 9 p.m. to-night, and leaves for that port again at 5.30 o’clock to-morrow afternoon. The Toa is scheduled to sail for Whakatane at 10 a.m. to-morrow. The Claymore is due from Whangarei at 9 p.m. to-morrow. She leaves on the return trip at 3 o’clock that afternoon. The Gunbar sailed from Auckland yesterday on her return trip' to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Kairanga is leaving Auckland at II o’clock this evening for Portland, where she loads cement to-morrow for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Wingatui, en route from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton, leaves Wellington to-day for Auckland and should arrive here on Saturday. The Kaiapoi, from ' Greymouth, leaves Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, where she loads for Auckland. She is due here early next week. The Kurow sails from Auckland tomorrow for Lyttelton direct, thence Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. ••’’he Katoa left Dunedin at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for ALickland. The Waimea sailed yesterday for Gisborne and Napier and is due back at Auckland on Sunday. The Poolta, from Australia, left New Plymouth at 3.45 p.m. yesterday and leaves Wellington to-morrow and Pict.on on Saturday for Auckland. She is due here next Tuesday, and after discharge undergoes overhaul and survey at this port. The Westport Coni Company's collier Canopus left Auckland last evening on her return trip to Westport. The Tiroa, which sailed last evening for Hicks Bay and Gisborne, returns to Auckland on Sunday next. The Canadian Challenger left here yesterday for Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin to complete of Canadian cargo and to load for her return voyage to America. The Baron Fairlie is to be dispatched at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington to continue unloading.
