COPTIC SAILS.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company dispatched the Coptic from Wellington yesterday for Southampton and London, _yia Panama. MARGARET W. REPORTED.—The four-masted auxiliary schooner Margaret W. passed Cape Brett at 1.-15 p.m. yesterday, en route from Newcastle to Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. The vessel has a coal cargo and is making a fast trip. She left Newcastle last Wednesday and should reach Tokomd.ru Bay to-morrow. MATAKANA LEAVES BALBOA. — Cabled news has been received •by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Matakana left Balboa on Sunday afternoon for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin, en route from Liverpool. She is due at Auckland on May 4.

RANGITIKI’S PROGRAMME. —The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the motor-liner Rangitiki will leave Bluff on April 24 to load at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Wellington on May 1, and will sail on May 4 for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island*and Panama Canal. V/IRRAL LEAVES NEW YORK.—The steamer Wirral is reported to have sailed from New York last Monday for Auckland, Wellington, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Noumea and Rabaul. She is running under charter to the A. and A. Line, and the New Zealand Shipping Company is the local agent. Her arrival at Auckland is expected about May 26.

RIMUTAKA’S SAILING DATE.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rimutaka was to leave Timaru last night at midnight for the Wanganui roadstead and Wellington to complete' loading. She is due at Wellington next Monday morning, and will sail from there on April 24 for Southampton and London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. TAINUI'S MOVEMENTS.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Tainui, -which arrived at Auckland on Monday from Wellington, to complete discharge of her London cargo, will leave Auckland on Friday to load at Opua, Napier, Timaru and Wellington. She is due at Wellington on May 2, and will sail from there on May 9 for Southampton and London, via Panama Canal.

OTIRA DUE FRlDAY.—Advice has been received by L. D. Nathan and Company that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Otira, which arrived at Waikokopu at S a.m. to-day from Oamaru. leaves on Thursday at 8 p.m. for Auckland. She is due here on Friday and sails again next Tuesday for Wellington, where she completes her loading and finally departs on April 27 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. AORANGI NEARS SUVA.—According to radio advice received by the local office of the Union Company, the R.M.M.S. Aorangi is expected to arrive at Suva at 9 a.m. to-morrow from Vancouver, via Victoria and Honolulu. She clears the Fijian port at 3 o’clock the same afternoon for Auckland and is due here on Sunday afternoon. At 10 o'clock on Monday evening the Aorangi is scheduled to leave Auckland for Sydney.

PORT NAPIER’S ITINERARY.—The C. and D. Line advises that an alteration has been made in the loading itinerary of the Port Napier. The vessel left Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth to complete discharge and to commence loading. She will afterwards proceed to load also at Wanganui, Auckland. Lyttelton and Wellington. The Fort Napier is due at Wellington on May 4, and will sail from that port on May 9 for London, via the Cape Horn route. PASSENGERS ON BEL.TANA. —Henderson and Maefarlane, Limited, advise that the following passengers from New Zealand leave Sydney to-day for London by the P. and O. steamer Beltana: Miss S. E. Nicholls, Miss M. Gilchrist, Miss D. Langley, Mr. C. E. W. Castell, Mrs. Castell, Mrs. E. P. Titchener, Mrs. M. Laing, Mrs. Gordon, Miss J. Gordon, Mr. J. McKeown, Miss E. Bailey, Mr. S. F. Pace, Mr. H. Pace, Mr. R. A. Bigwood, Mrs. R. Bigwood. SYDNEY EASTERN SERVICE.—Watkin and Wallis advises that the AustralChina Navigation Company now announces the sailings from Sydney of its steamships Calulu and Chronos for Rabaul, Manila, Horig-Kong and Shanghai. taking general and refrigerated cargo and passengers. Special arrangements have been made to take tourists, and those wishing to travel to China by a route out of the usual will find a pleasant opportunitv of doing so by either of these ships. Calls are made at Samarai and Rabaul in New Guinea and at Manila. from whence the vessels proceed to Hong-Ivong and other Chinese ports. Special arrangements are made for refrigerated cargo and the frozen space is considered a great asset to Oriental traffic. The Calulu and Chronos formerly were German vessels taken over by the Commonwealth during the war.

TOFUA SAILS SATURDAY—At 11 a.m. next Saturday, April 20, the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua leaves Auckland on her monthly trip to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. WAIPAHI FOR COOK ISLANDS.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi, which is to resume running in the fruit trade, leaves Auckland on May 2 for Rarotonga, Mangaia and Aitutaki.

CANADIAN BRITISHER COMING. The local office of the Canadian National Steamships has received cabled advice that the Canadian Britisher arrived at Colon on April 6, and cleared Panama on April 7. She is due at Auckland on May 6.

GABRIELLA DUE TO-MORROW.—The Northern Company has received advice that the steamer Gabriella is expected at Auckland with coal from Newcastle and timber . from Port Stephens to-morrow morning. The cargo will be unloaded at Auckland and East Coast ports. TREGONNEL REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by Spedding, Limited, the steamer Tregonnel is expected to arrive at Auckland at 6 a.m. on aSturday from Cuba. The vessel is bringing a cargo of raw sugar for discharge at Chelsea. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Ulimaroa sails from Auckland at 11 a.m. on Friday for Sydney. The Maunganui and the Marama both leave'Sydney at 3 p.m. on Friday for Auckland and Wellington respectively. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. AELYBRYN RETURNING.—Now bunkering at Westport, the steamer Aelybryn is expetced to leave the coal port tonight or early to-morrow morning for Auckland, where she will dock for cleaning and painting before proceeding to the Islands to load for New Zealand or Australia.

RARANGA SAILING. —Eefforts are being made by A. S. Paterson and Company to dispatch the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga from Auckland on Friday for Wellington, -where she completes her loading and final.y departs on of England, via Montevideo and Teneriffe.

ROTORUA REPORTS AGAIN.—A further radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the liner Rotorua is now expected to arrive at Auckland on Saturday afternoon from London and Southampton. The liner has passengers and mails for disembarkation at Auckland, and cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington and New Plymouth. TASMANIA TO COMPLETE. —To complete her loading, the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Tasmania leaves Gisborne to-morrow for Auckland, and is due here on P"riday. She lias been allotted a berth at the Queen’s Wharf. Efforts are to be made to dispatch the vessel from Auckland on Wednesday next for New Y ork, Boston, Halifax and west coast ports of England, via Panama.
