AIRPLANE SMASHED
HIT SCRUB IN RISING Reed. 11 a.m. DARWIN, To-day. A Moth airplane in which Captain Murray and his wife were travelling south was badly damaged following a forced landing near Warlock. The landing was safely effected, but in attempting to rise again the plane struck the scrub and was damaged beyond repair. The occupants were unhurt. Captain and Mrs. Murray came to Port Darwin from Singapore by steamer.
