PAKURANGA HUNT
OPENING MEET NEXT SATURDAY Activities in connection with the forthcoming season of the Pakuranga Hunt will commence next Saturday, April 20, when a visit will be paid to Greenmount, East Tamaki, which is considered one of the most popular meeting grounds of the hunt. A comprehensive programme of fixtures has been drawn up for April and May. Most of the meets will be held round the East Tamaki district, with an occasional trip to Clevedon, Ramarama and Howick. The programme of fixtures is as follows: Saturday, April 20—Greenmount, East Tamaki. Wednesday, April 24 —Pakuranga Hill, Pakuranga. Saturday, April 27—Opening meet at the East Tamaki Hall, East Tamaki. Tuesday, April 30—Homai Railway Station. Saturday, May 4—Visit to Clevedon. May 7—Creamery, East TamSaturday, May 11—“Ranganui,” Papatoetoe. Tuesday, May 14—Opaheke. Saturday, May 18—Kelly’s Corner, Papatoetoe. Tuesday, May 21—Beachlea Downs, Papatoetoe.
