OLD POST OFFICE BURNED
FIRE AT THAMES SOUTH (From Our O-wn Correspondent) THAMES, Friday. Fire destroyed the old Post Office at Kopu at 3 a.m. to-day. The licensee of the Kopu Hotel opposite was aroused by the glare and summoned the Thames Fire Brigade, but as there are no hydrants they were unable to do anything. The building was unoccupied, as the post office has been removed to the railway station.
