FARMERS’ QUEEN CROWNED fSpecial to THE SUN) CAMBRIDGE. To-day A great crowd gathered m the Cambridge Town Hall on Thursday evening to see the winner of the queen carnival crowned. Miss Jessie Thompson, of Bruntwood. the farmers’ queen, was crowned queen, and in her court were Miss Ruth Souter, the sports’ candidate, and Miss Myra Hart, citizens’ candidate. The carnival was held to raise funds for a. new block of rest rooms proposed by the Plunket Society.
