ALBERTA. MORNINGSIDE | Alberta Lodge (No. 53, Independent | Order of Oddfellows), held its installai tion of officers for the ensuing term | last night, and there was a good atI tendance of members and visiting ibrethren. P.G. Bro. A. J. Guy, Grand Warden lof Australasia, conducted the cere- | mony, and his suite v consisted of P.G.’s ! | Bros. P. Evans, E. Parr, F. Morrell, G. l Arnott, W. Hawes and D.D. Grand Marshal H. A. Blakely. The officers installed were: J.P.G. H. J. Clark; N.G., J. Graham; V.G., Robt. Graham; warden, F. Hutchings; recording sec., W. A. Pye; financial sec., H. G. Adams; treas., W. J. Scott; j conductor, Bro. McDonald: chaplain, | W. Dumper; supporter to N.G., Bro. J. j Pye and J. Daniels; supporters to ■ V.G., Bros. L. Moyle and F. Hammond: ! scene supporters, Bros. Prisk and \ Ebbit. Intimaton of the death at Dunedin of the secretary of the Grand Lodge, Bro. F. Wilkinson, was received. Members stood in silence and the lodge decided to go in mourning for six Aveeks as a mark of respect. P.G. Bro. H. G. Adams was nominated for the vacancy of grand secretary. A report was received from the Auckland representatives to the recent conference at Nelson.
