The Last Absurds At Wanganui Walter Raynor is handling a couple of yearlings preparatory to getting them into shape next season for the juvenile events, writes “Kestrel." The pair claim distinction by reason of the fact that they are the last of the Absurds. Both are fillies, one, Drastic, claiming Drax (Spearmint —Suncroft) as her dam, while the other, which will race as Pomp, is also out of an English mare, Pomyris (Fommcrn —Porphyris). It will be interesting to follow their respective careers.
