AUCKLANDER’S BEQUESTS Under the terms of the will of the late Miss Charlotte M. Meßachlan. wfto died at her home in Grafton Road oti Thursday at the ago of S 3, St. Mat*thew’s Anglican Church, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, and the Eesl£ Presbyterian Orphanage will benefit to the extent of £1,700. The will provides for £ 1,400 to Stß Andrew’s Church, and sums of XTCSp each to St. Matthew’s Church. the Beslie Orphanage and the Maori Mujr sion administered by St. Andrew’s Church. Miss Mcßachlan was born at Comg» wallis and lived in Auckland all Kef life. For many years she lived xtt Grafton, where she was well known. She was a regular church attender. A brother of Miss Mcß&chlan. tM late John McLachlan, gave Cornwallis Park to the citizens of Auckland.
