Miss Mcßachlan was born at Comg» wallis and lived in Auckland all Kef life. For many years she lived xtt Grafton, where she was well known. She was a regular church attender. A brother of Miss Mcß&chlan. tM late John McLachlan, gave Cornwallis Park to the citizens of Auckland.
