WINNER DISQUALIFIED Lucy Hose won the Shaw Memorial by three-quarters of a length from Desert Glow, with Queen Arcli a half a length back in third place. On returning to scale Lucy Hose failed to draw the correct weight and the race was awarded lo Dest Glow, with Queen Arch and Lurient II in the minor placings.
