SUICIDAL CELEBRANT
LIQUOR ON ST. PATRICK’S DAY ATTEMPT TO JUMP BRIDGE (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. A young man named Collins, aged 25, single, attempted to commit suicide on Saturday by trying to jump off tbe railway bridge over the Waikato River. He was arrested and brought before the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court, where he was charged with attempted suicide. He was convicted without penalty, suppression of his name being refused.
Collins said lie had too much liquor when celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
