RECOGNITION BY HUMANE SOCIETY KAWHIA DROWNiNG FATALITIES (Freni Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Saturday, Certificates from the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand will be presented by the Mayor, Mr. J. R. Row, on Thursday afternoon to the relatives of the late Mr. T. B. Dillicar and the late Mr. Clarence Hunter, who lost their lives at Kavvhiu on January 10 while engaged in rescuing two boys from drowning in the surf. Two boys got into difficulties, and Messrs. Dillicar and Hunter, with Mr. lan Selby, went to their assistance and brought them ashore. Mr. Hunter got into difficulties, and Mr. Dillicar and Mr. Selby endeavoured to help hint. The two rescuers were drowned, and Mr. Selby was saved by some girls who made a human chain.
