ATTACK ON MODERNISM FORTHCOMING DEMONSTRATION A big Bible demonstration for the ‘ exposition of our Holy and Historic Faith” is to be held in the Town Hall on Thursday evening, March 14, when no fewer than five speakers will deliver addresses of outstanding interest. Doors will be opened at 7.15 p.m. and the Rev. E. R. Harris will preside over the subsequent meeting. An organ recital will be given by Mr. Arthur E Wilson. The first speaker will be the Rev. Joseph Kemp, whose subject is to be “The Menace of Modernism.” The Rev. A. A. Murray will stress “The Infallibility of Our Lord.” “Is the Bible Trustworthy?” will be the question asked by Mr. C. J. Rolls. He will give his own answer. Dr. W. H. Pettit’s subject is “Can History Be Written Beforehand?” The chairman will explain in his own address “The Antidote to Modernism.” Tickets are obtainable free from all churches, the Sunday School Union, New Zealand Bible Training Institute, and Mr. H. L. Thatcher, Symonds Street.
