TE AROHA BOXING
ASSOCIATION'S MEETING By increased public support a loss on two tournaments had been made up in the last quarter, reported the president, Mr. W. Jones, at the adjourned annual meeting of the Te Aroha Boxing Association. Officers vtfere elected as follow: Patron, Mr. C. E. Macmillan, M.P.; president, Mr. J. C. Carroll; vicepresidents, all re-elected, with the addition of Messrs. Hepburn, Galloway and Morrison; secretary, Mr. C. H. Williams; assistant-secretary, Mr. J. Dixon; hon. auditor, Mr. Edmonds; hon. surgeons, Drs. Lawrence and Dempster; treasurer, Mr. Mahon; executive committee, Messrs. D. Brenan, A. G. Wilson, R. J. Bird, T. Aickin, and G. Barfoot; hon. solicitor, Mr. J. Somers It was decided to stage a tournament at Te Aroha on February 16.
