AUCKLAND CRICKET TEAM’S TRIBUTE TO LATE MR. J. F. PEAKE

/Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. On Christmas Hve the Auckland representatives for the Plunket Shield game visited the grave of the late Mr. J. F. Peake, who was secretary to the New Zealand Cricket Council for many years, and who died recently in Christchurch Mr. Peake was highly popular in cricket circles, and acted as manager of the New Zealand team which visited Australia two years ago. On behalf of the Auckland team the captain, Mr. Cyril Allcott, placed a wreath upon the grave.
