WOMAN HIT WITH BAR
RAIDER IN SYDNEY SHOP SENSATIONAL EXPERIENCE SYDNEY. Friday. Mrs. Kopit. who conducts a pawnshop in George Street, in the city, had a sensational experience with a ruffian just after she opened her shop to-day, A man asked a question about some socks. Mrs. Kopit turned to serve him when she was felled with an iron bar, which * s wrapped un brown paper. The man attempted to raid the shelves, but Mrs. Kopit screamed and her sister arrived from upstairs just in time to see the assailant disappearing through the door. Mrs. Kopit ■was sent to hospital with cerebral concussion. The police state the crime has a remarkable resemblance to the Falvey shooting case in Marrickville last June,
