GIRL STEALS POISON

SUICIDE IN CANTERBURY CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. At an inquestat Hanmer on the death of Mftry Parker, aged IS, a domestic servant, the jury returned a verdict that deceased met her death by poison self-administered when in a state of mental depression. A rider that more care should be taken of poison by station owners was added. It was stated in evidence that the girl got the poison from the storeroom.— P.A.
