WALES TO AUCKLAND
NEW CONGREGATIONAL MINISTER INDUCTION ON WEDNESDAY The Rev. R. C. Roberts, 8.A., 8.D., minister-elect of the Moupt Eden Congregational Church, is expected to arrive in Wellington by the Tainui on Saturday. Mr. Roberts has been the pastor of Christ Congregational Church, Landaff North, Cardiff, and has just concluded a most successful pastorate there. He was also editor of the “Congregational Magazine,” the official organ of the Cardiff and District Congregational Board. The induction service will take place in the Mount Eden Congregational Church next Wednesday evening and Mr. Roberts will commence his ministry on the following Sunday, when he will preach at the morning and evening services. CHURCH OF CHRIST NEW AUCKLAND MINISTER Mr. H. A. G. Clark, minister-*elect of the Church of Christ, Dominion Road, is expected to arrive in Auckland on Saturday morning. He arrived at Wellington by the Ulimaroa from Sydney yesterday, and will commence his services on Sunday morning. Mr. Clark has been a missionary in China. His station was closed down during the recent trouble, and while awaiting reopening he went to Yale University and took his B.D. degree, gaining first place in liis year. Mr. Clark lias had a distinguished scholastic career. He was for a time a teacher at Scotch College, Melbourne, and is a most popular preacher. He is also an enthusiast in athletics, football, cricket and tennis.
