NEW WARNING SIGNAL

A new warning signal is being erected by the Railways Department the Lake Road crossing, Hamilton. This is of the new Pearson’s crossing type and is electrically controlled. Two white arms turn on the approach of a train, striking an alarm bell at each revolution, giving an effective warning to approaching vehicles. It is expected that the signal will be in operation during the coming week.
