SMOKELESS FUEL
NEW TREATMENT OF COAL Times Cable. LONDON, Friday. Smokeless fuel, produced by the low temperature carbonisation process, will shortly be available in London, as the result of an agreement between the South Metropolitan Gas Company and Low Temperature Carbonisation, Limited. This is the first gas company in Britain to commercialise the new treatment of coal, which it Js believed will resuscitate the coalfields.
