PRINCE IN KENYA
ALL SIDES OF LIFE SEEN VISIT TO PALESTINE British Official Wireless Reed. 12.15 p.m. RUGBY, Friday. The Prince of Wales was present at the opening of the Kenya Colony Legislature at Nairobi, to-day. The Governor, Sir Edward Grigg, described the visit of the Prince and his brother, the Duke of Gloucester, as the most outstanding event of the history of the colony. AVithout departing from the informal nature of his visit, the Prince of Wales had been able to see all sides of life in the colony. None of the communities of Kenya had failed to feel the stimulus of the interest and sympathy of the Prince, and he hoped that the Prince’s experiences had been such that his Royal Highness would be willing to renew them. According to a United Service message the “Manchester Guardian” says that the Prince of Wales contemplates visiting Palestine in 1930. The Prince is due to reach Capetown on December 28. ,
