VISIT OF SQUADRON

SHIPS ARRIVE TO-MORROW

The Japanese squadron under the command of Vice-Admiral Kobayashi will arrive at Auckland to-morrow morning. The two vessels will be in the stream at nine o’clock.

The vessels will berth at Queen’s Wharf, and then the customary official calls will be made. The senior naval officer at Auckland, Commander Nelson Clover, will visit the Admiral at 9.30, and he will be followed by Colonel’H. R. Potter, the deputy-chair-man of the Harbour Board, and the Mayor, Mr. G. BaUdon. In the evening an At Home will be held in the Town Hall. A full programme of entertainment has been arranged for officers and men, and a special rail excursion is to be run to Rotorua. ,
