.. Entertaining Japanese. —- Auckland Rotarians to-day discussed plans for motoring officers of the visiting Japanese fleet to different parts of Auckland and district.

Collision With Wagon. —A motorcyclist, Mr. William Wilcox, aged 41, of Onslow Road. Epsom, colided with a heavy wagon in Manukau Road on Saturday. He was a taken to hospital with a fractured leg and is now recovering.

Takanini School. The Takanini School Committee held a successful social on Saturday evening for the purpose of unveiling a new liberty cupboard which has been installed i.n the school. Dancing occupied the remainder of the evening.
