The 87th anniversary commemorative services will be held at St. Paul’s, Symonds Street, to-morrow. The .Rev. George Coates will preach in the morning and the "Very Rev. Canon H. K. Archdall, headmaster of King’s College, in the evening. ~ ~ * Morning and evening services on the Methodist Auckland West circuit will be held as usual at St. John’s, Ponsonby Road, Franklin Road, Richmond Avenue, Bayfield and Great North Road. The preacher at the morning service at St. Mary’s Cathedral to-morrow will be Canon Pe.rcival James. In the evening his Grace the Archbishop of New Zealand will be the speaker. memorial service to the late Dame : Ellen Terry will be held. The preacher , will be Canon Grant Cowen. A special lecture on' “Tlie Sacraments,” their message and meaning, will be given in the Unity Hall. Upper Queen Street, to-morrow afternoon ,at 3 o’clock. * * * The Associated Churches of Christ will hold meetings as usual to-morrow at Ponsonby Road, Dominion Road, Onehunga; Richmond, Avondale, Devonpart, Point Chevalier and Mount Albert. * * * The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold services as usual tomorrotv at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. A testimony meeting will be held on Wednesday evening.
The New Zealand Students’ Christian Movement will hold an intercession service at St. David’s Church, Khyber Pass, to-morrow evening. * At the Royal Oak Baptist Church to-morrow, Mr. C. Boggis and Mr. J. Crosier, two Baptist College students, will preach in the morning and evening respectively. Tho Rev. A. S. Wilson will preach at the morning and evening services at the Grange ltoad Baptist Church tomorrow. * * At the Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Newmarket, to-morrow evening, Air S. Goodman will speak on j “The Educational Value of Spiritualism.” \
A Sunday afternoon meeting will be held at the Y.M.C.A. to-morrow afternoon at 4.15. Air. Lawrence North will speak and sing.. The Rev. W. Gilmour will preach at the Edendale Presbyterian Church to-morrow both morning and evening, and the Rev. J. Pattison will preach at the Somervell Church. The Methodist Central Alission will begin a ten-days’ campaign, conducted by Mr. Francis AT. Cribb, to-morrow. There will be community singing and services every night.
