RESULTS OF MATCHES The pairs tournament of the Ponsonby Bowling Club was played yesterday, and resulted as follows: Section A.—First round: Carbines and Parsons 32, v. Goldie and Allen, 17; Garlich and Thomas 23, v. Crowe and McIvor 15. Second round: Mclvor 21, v. Allen 18; Parsons 20, v. Thomas 15. Third round: Thomas 19, v. Allen 17; Parsons 22, v. Mclvor 15. Section B.—First round: Ormrod and Miller 20, v. Rolfe and Bridges 13; Hardley and De Launay 17, v. Hill and McCarthy 14. Second round: Miller 32, v. McCarthy IS; De Launay 17, v. Bridges 16. Third round: Miller 21, v. De Launay 11; Bridges 21, v. McCarthy 21. A. Parsons is the winner of section A and S. Miller of section B. They will play off on a date to be arranged.
