NEW ORPHANAGE
DINGWALL SITE BOUGHT 30 ACRES AT PAPATOETOE Thirty acres of land at Papatoetoe has been purchased for the Presbyterian Orphanage, to be established under the will of the late Mr. D. M. Dingwall. Most of the property was dairy land belonging to Mr. A. W. Hall. It is close to the Papatoetoe Presbyterian Church and to the Great South Road. The trustees of the estate made the purchase and will hand it over to the Orphanage Trust Board. A system of cottage buildings has been desided on, and they will be grouped in a convenient way. The work is to be carried out as soon as possible. A sum of £190,000 or £200,000 will probably he available under the bequest.
