AN ENGLISH PROPOSAL TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (United Service) Reed. noon. LONDON, Tuesday. The English Tenuis Association, subject to the approval of the Australian Association, has offered to send Austin, Higgs, Gregory and I. C. Collins, with a manager, to Australia on a three months’ / tour. They would arrive in Sydney on November 13. Matches would be played in each State, with one test. The team would also compete In the Victorian and Australian championships, and would embark at Perth for home in February. A guarantee would be required of £SOO, or 50 per cent, of the net profits.
