STRICKEN BY MALARIA
MR. J. H. THOMAS’S FAMILY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. The Labour leader, Mr. J. H. Thomas, M.P., and his family, arrived at Plymouth from the Gold Coast, where he opened Takoradi Harbour. His daughter Doris is suffering from malaria. She was carried ashore on a stretcher. His wife is also ill and was assisted ashore. The nurse and Mr. Thomas’s son are also ailing.
