N.Z.F.A.’S DIFFICULTIES HEAVY LOSS LAST SEASON (From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. According to the 37th annual report of the New Zealand Football Association the last season was the most disastrous in the history of the association. The report shows that 508 teams (including school teams) have affiliated with the association and that there are 6,138 actual players. The loss on the year’s working amounted to £2,136 14s Bd. During the year the association experienced great difficulty in getting grounds for play. It is hoped that the funds will b© built up again as a result of judicious selection of overseas tours in the future and careful control of the expenditure.
