SOUTH AUCKLAND CENTRE MAKES STEADY PROGRESS

(From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Sunday. At the annual meeting of the South Auckland Football Association held last evening. Mr! G. McKinnon presiding. The chairman of the committee, Mr. F. J. Carr, reported that the position of the association was improving steadily. The following trophies were won during the year: South Auckland Championship Shield, Waihou; Howdcn Cup, Frankton Railways; Ansell Cup, Frankton Railways; Junior Championship Shield, Pukemiro; A.B.C. Cup. Hamilton Technical High School. Progress had been made with regard to school football. J. Bate, of Huntly. was congratulated on winning his international cap as a member of the team which played the Australian boys’ team. The North

Chapman, making the presentations. The club members won one senior and five junior South Auckland championships.
