LABOUR AT PUKEMIRO

ADDRESS BY MR. MARTIN (From Our Oxen Correspondent) HUNTLY, To-day. Mr. W. Lee Martin, M.P. for Raglan, addressed the electors of Raglan at Pukemiro last night. The president of the local Miners’ Union, Mr. J. Garrick, presided. The speaker traversed the work of last session, and severely criticised the Government's lands policy and increase in the rate for advances to settlers from to 04 per cent. The speaker was given an enthusiastic reception, which terminated with a unanimous vote of continued conudence in him.
