SALES IN DECEMBER
The official figures for new car sales during the month of December are as follow (first six makes only): Chevrolet 271 Essex 244 Ford 167 Austin 133 Chrysler H 4 Morris 87 A total of 1,692 new cars were sold in New Zealand during the month, of which 1,261 went to the North Island and 431 to the South Island. These figures show a slight decrease over those for December, 1926. ****'%*********
