PAPATOETOE WATER SUPPLY

TEST TO BE MADE The work of sinking the shaft to test the quality and quantity of water at the proposed water supply site for Papatoetoe will be commenced immediately after the holidays, as the agreement has now been signed by the two interested parties. The site is at McLaughlin’s Hill on the Puhinui estate, and from tests which have already been made, a water supply for Papatoetoe should be assured in the near future.
