On December 24 a morning and an afternoon delivery will be made by postmen. Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day) —Mails for Soutnern Offices will clo*« at 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., respectively The midnight clearance of street *ie. ceivers” will not be made. Monday, December 26 (for Christmas Day) and January 2 (for New Years Day), and Tuesday, December 27 (for Boxing Day).—Will be observed as close holidays. A midnight clearance of street “receivers” will be made On the 26th instant, mails for Southern Offices will close at 5 p.m. 5.30 p.m. respectively. There will be no delivery by postmen.

Day) and Monday, January 2 (fO- - Year’s Day).—All mails win close at 4 a.m.. with the exception that those for Southern Offices wfll close at 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. respectively. Only parcels on which the “Express Transit” fee has been paid will be dispatched. There will be no delivery by postmen. Sunday, January I.—Mails for Southern Offices will close at 5 p.m. and g.i* p.m. respectively. A midnight clearance of all street ' receivers” will be made as usual. Late fee letters for Southern Offices may be posted in the box at the entrance to the Railway Station platform, up to 10 minutes before the advertised times of departure of tfca expresses.
